8 ┃ Judge 🎓

The function of Judge will be to resolve disputes between citizens, police and anarchist who interact with the city.

The judge has authority over the police. When a player reports a policeman and he is guilty, he will have to accept the sentence that is applied to him. As well as in the opposite case in which a player commits a crime, he will have to accept the sentence that is applied.

The judge outside of his functions is another citizen, if he commits a crime he is in the hands of the police.

The judge have to be fair with the sentences. It has to be proportional to the infringement caused. That is, if someone steals material, it would be fair to return it and do community work (like crafting a trunk and picking up all the clothes and pieces of zombies that are on the ground throughout the city). If he is unwilling or unable to return, items of the same value will be seized from his home.

The penalties can be of different types: spending time inside the cell, doing community work, confiscating items from the criminal’s base, expulsion from the city, etc.

If the criminal does not want to serve the sentence, several things can happen;

  1. If he is not a member of the city and commits a crime, he is denied entry to the city and commerce until he completes the sentence. If you do not want to serve your sentence and continue with acts of vandalism, you will be suspended from the server.
  2. If you are not a member, you commit a crime and serve your sentence, you may enter the city again.
  3. If you are a citizen and commit a crime, the sentence will depend on the degree of crime from a simple penalty to expulsion from the city.

Remember that the city is subject to rules, but if you don’t want to respect them, you have the rest of the island to play with.
